2012 New Year Countdown @ Strait Quey

Ark's Malaysian Education Fair Roadshow

The participants include Kolej YPC,ATC, Sime Darby Nursing College, Segi College, Lam Wah Ee Nursing School, Masterskill, Quest University Perak, TAR College, Universiti Tenaga, Olympia College, Pedoman, Spectrum, Universiti Selangor, Studymed, Lincoln University College and others.

FREE Career Testing, Career Guidance and Counselling will be provided by Mr.K.Krishnan M.A.(USA) an expert on career guidance with more than 20 years of experience.

A FREE guide book entitled "Where can I apply for a scholarship?" will be distributed to visitors.

This event is organized by Ark Career Development Center, local Career Guidance house. The main objective is to help SPM and STPM students who have just sat for their examonations. Soon they have to make very important career decisions. We want our youths to benefit from this wonderful event. The news can only reach those who need them if the media helps us to publicise it. Facon Education Fair, 2011

As one of the largest education fairs in this region, Facon Education Fair Incorporationg Postgraduates 2010 (December), is superbly timed, when than 500,000 students are expected to finish their SPM, STPM, O & A levels examinations. While the Independent Chinese Schools' examination results, Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) are expect to be released during this period. During this period, students and parents will be eagerly collecting vital information on programs and institutions of higher learning to pursue their further education.

For many students, a visit to the Facon Education Fair marks a new phase in their life. This is where they made their decisions not only on the choice of their program, but also the education institutions to help them build their future. For others, Facon Education Fair is a place for them to gather information to help them make an informed choice for their educational needs

1st Penang "No Car Day"


Date : 11 Dec 2011

Time : 630am - Collection of t shirts

700 am - Arrival of CM

730 am - Flag off for 10 Km ride

745 am - Flag off for 2 Km leisure ride

800 am - Flag off for pedestrian

Venue : In front of Immmigration Dept Office, Beach Street

Free registration.

Tshirt - one-size-fits-all


Everyone are invited to join provided you do not come with motorised vehicle. You can cycle, walk, jog, roller skate or even take the trishaws which will be parked at the event venue for you to ride

3000 t shirts will be available for participants and it is on a first come first serve basis. You can register on line or download the forms or collect the application forms from participating bicycle shops and bring the completed form along with you to the venue as below to collect you t shirts; Please take note even if you have registered or fill in the form, it does not mean, you are entitle to the t shirt as it is on a first come first serve basis. So be at the venue early to ensure you have a t shirt.

There will be 3 flags off; 1) 10 Km Beach St - Jelutong Expressway and back and Esplanade and back to Beach St; 2) 2 km, leisure ride in the car free zone; suitable for leisure and those with young children 3) Pedestrians/ Joggers/ Trishaws/ Roller skaters
